Applications
Enzymes improve processes by breaking down, modifying, and releasing desired compounds. They are designed to perform reliably under their specified conditions so you can achieve better results in both food and industrial uses.
Cleaning and Washing
Enzymes improve stain removal and cleaning in both household and industrial processes, often with a lower chemical load.
Bakery and Food
Enzymes improve baking quality, texture, and shelf life by supporting controlled modification of dough and raw materials.
Feed
Enzymes improve nutrient absorption in animal feed, which can support growth and reduce waste.
Textiles
Enzymes help with fabric finishing and bio-washing, resulting in a more consistent outcome and a more controllable process.
Pulp and Paper
Enzymes support pulp processing and paper manufacturing by improving fiber handling and process efficiency.
Biofuels
Enzymes are key in the production of bioethanol and other biofuels, enabling efficient conversion of raw materials into fermentable substrates.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are enzymes and what are they used for?
Enzymes are biological catalysts that speed up and direct chemical reactions. They are used in cleaning and washing products, food, feed, textiles, pulp and paper, and biofuel production, among others.
How do I choose the right enzyme for my application?
Selection is based on the process goal (e.g. cleaning performance, texture, digestibility, or fermentability), the raw materials, and the recommended operating conditions (pH, temperature). Request a free sample and tell us your application and volume needs, and we will help identify a suitable option.
Why are pH and temperature important for enzymes?
Enzyme activity depends strongly on environmental conditions. When pH and temperature are within the recommended range, the enzyme works more efficiently and process results are more consistent.
What does U/g (activity) mean and how should it be interpreted?
U/g indicates the measured enzyme activity in units per gram. A higher U/g may mean more effective breakdown at the same dosage, but the final dosage should be confirmed in your own process trials.
How should an enzyme be stored and what is its shelf life?
Shelf life and storage instructions depend on the product. In general, enzymes should be stored tightly closed in a cool, dry place. Follow the storage instructions in the COA/TDS and avoid moisture ingress.
